One morning, on my walk to work, my mind wandered.

Holding a Jasmine flower in my hands, i was aware of the fragrance but wasn’t paying attention where i was going. Immersed in thinking, the Jasmine i was holding slipped out of my hand and landed on a huge ficus tree root i could have easily dripped over.

Looking down, i thought i heard: “See what’s in front of you, pay attention!”

Gratefully, i paid more attention that day.
